On the evening of Saturday, March 23, the members of the Young Adult Fellowship gathered for dinner and a spiritual talk. Guest speaker and author Kh. Constantina Palmer of St. John’s (Newfoundland) presented her talk entitled, “Fake It ‘til You Make It: Living an Orthodox Life in a World of Hypocrisy.” Participants especially enjoyed the homemade lenten Cajun dinner and the extended Q&A session with Kh. Constantina following her presentation. The event was sponsored by the Mentoring Program at St. George Orthodox church, which endeavours to engage young adults at critical points in their lives. Group mentoring events foster healthy discussions about life, relationships, and spirituality. To learn more about Mentoring or to be included on the distribution list please contact Fr. Joseph Purpura, pastor, or Fr. Justin Mitchell, Mentoring Director.
